A great weekend at Beo Hiking Fest 2025 – and where to next

Last weekend, April 12 and 13, 2025, Woodplastix and Citywall took part in the largest Balkan outdoor activity festival – Beo Hiking Fest. If you’re a lover of outdoor activities, whether it’s hiking, mountaineering, alpinism or sport climbing, this festival should be an unmissable event for you!

Excellent organisation, an engaging programme, and guests from all areas related to outdoor activities ensured a fantastic working atmosphere and a great opportunity to meet numerous customers and future partners. Alongside many new faces and organisations, we also ran into some old acquaintances who didn’t hesitate to enthusiastically share their satisfaction with our products with new visitors.

Our stand proved to be a very lively and social spot, where people gladly stopped by to ask about our work and the possibilities of collaborating on various projects. Many were pleasantly surprised to learn that top-quality climbing walls and equipment are being produced right here in Serbia, and that they can supply their climbing centres with volumes, macro elements, holds, mats, or completely new walls directly from Serbia – with no need for import.

Of course, since this was an international event, our stand was also visited by a significant number of representatives from climbing, mountaineering, and rescue organisations from neighbouring countries. As usual, our exhibits drew great interest – and most of them didn’t return to Sombor with us but instead found a place on fresh climbing routes in renowned clubs.
