Wood Plastix manufacturing expands to furniture
At Wood Plastix, we welcome change, as we believe in constant growth, improvement and expansion. The success of our climbing wall manufacturing has provided us with means to invest in the further expansion of our capacities and begin producing a broad variety of furniture items. To this end, we have recently acquired our third CNC machining centre, and we are in the process of expanding our capacities – our venue surface and workforce – by over 50% by 2026.
With our first batch, we have near fully furnished an apartment building in Domžale, Slovenia. Our furniture programme includes kitchen elements, wardrobes, nigh cabinets, beds, dining and TV tables and anything else the buyer might order.
We produce serial and semi-serial furniture and offer various affordable solutions for different care, education and hospitality objects, be they retirement homes, schools and dormitories, hotels, motels or other similar establishments. Our products can be viewed in the gallery below.
The main resources used in our furniture manufacturing process are chipboard, plywood and Europan medium-density fireboard (MDF), as a part of our dedication to sustainable manufacturing and doing our share to reduce the overall carbon footprint of the wood processing industry.
