Our project in the Russo-Serbian Humanitarian Centre in Niš is completed

The value of sport climbing is not only in recreation. In addition to maintaining and improving one’s own health and physical fitness, climbing is a useful instrument for safeguarding the health and safety of other people. For this reason, various safety and rescue units and organizations use climbing walls as an integral part of their members’ training.

One such organization is the Russo-Serbian Humanitarian Center. As its main functions, this organization lists the following:

  • participation in activities for the prevention and elimination of emergencies;
  • providing humanitarian aid to populations affected by emergencies;
  • implementing joint projects and programs on the territory of the Republic of Serbia and other countries of the Balkan region;
  • training and professional development of personnel in the field of emergency prevention and response;
  • testing and demonstration of modern firefighting and rescue equipment and technologies;
  • performing other tasks that are not contrary to the Center’s objectives.

It is therefore natural that such an organization would include in its training a sport that develops the whole human body and enhances not only physical but also mental readiness and quick reaction—climbing. It is equally natural that, for the needs of that training, a serious organization would choose the best—Woodplastix.

Last week we completed our first project in cooperation with the RSHC: the installation of an outdoor polyester artificial climbing wall composed of 36 three-dimensional panels, manufactured at our factory in Sombor and installed by our assembly team, already highly experienced in this line of work, which carries out such projects around the world every few months.

We have no doubt that this project is a sign of an emerging trend and that the advantages of climbing will soon be recognized and put to use by all organizations for which agility and fitness are necessary prerequisites for the successful performance of duties.
