Our project in the Russo-Serbian Humanitarian Centre in Niš is completed
The value of sport climbing is not only in recreation. In addition to maintaining and improving one’s own health and physical fitness, climbing is a useful instrument for safeguarding the health and safety of other people. For this reason, various safety and rescue units and organizations use climbing walls as an integral part of their members’ training.
One such organization is the Russo-Serbian Humanitarian Center. As its main functions, this organization lists the following:
- participation in activities for the prevention and elimination of emergencies;
- providing humanitarian aid to populations affected by emergencies;
- implementing joint projects and programs on the territory of the Republic of Serbia and other countries of the Balkan region;
- training and professional development of personnel in the field of emergency prevention and response;
- testing and demonstration of modern firefighting and rescue equipment and technologies;
- performing other tasks that are not contrary to the Center’s objectives.
